AMY McGRATH FOR SENATE
MOTION GRAPHICS & ANIMATION

Client:
Amy McGrath for U.S. Senate (Kentucky)

Overview:
During the 2020 election period, I had the opportunity to develop a range of animated social posts and paid ads for Amy McGrath’s campaign for U.S. Senate resulting in the highest voter turnout in Kentucky since 2008. I developed 2 of the top 3 performing (persuasion lift) programmatic ads out of 38 ads placed in Q3-Q4.

Overall buckets expanded upon below included General GOTV Effort, Boosting Amy, and Hitting Mitch McConnell. Most animations have been sized at 16:9 for this portfolio but were created in 16:9, 1:1, and Instagram Stories formats for deployment on various social media platforms.

Notable Social Media Engagement:

Animated Twitter posts that I developed were retweeted by @TheLincolnProject, @MarkRuffalo, and @PattonOswalt. One animated Twitter post hitting Mitch on how early he knew about Covid-19 had 27.5K likes and 13.4K retweets. Another animated Twitter post about Amy standing with the USPS which I pitched and created in one day had 20.9K likes and 8.2K retweets.
